Stay hydrated, get a good night's sleep, eat a solid meal beforehand, and avoid alcohol for 24 hours. Wear comfortable clothing and bring any references or notes you’d like to share with your artist.

Your artist will provide specific aftercare instructions, but generally: keep the tattoo clean, apply the recommended aftercare cream, avoid picking or scratching, and avoid direct sunlight, swimming, or heavy sweating until fully healed.
